National Volunteer week runs from April 18th - 24th, 2004. Meals On Wheels (Sudbury) will take part in National Volunteer week by offering MINI-workshops to its volunteers. National Volunteer Week is a time to honour those that selfishly donate their time and energy to fellow citizens from coast to coast by raising awareness of the contribution volunteers make to their communities.
As a token of our appreciation, Meals On Wheels (Sudbury) is providing its volunteers the opportunity to take part in a series of MINI-Workshops from Monday April 19th through Friday April 23rd beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 10:15 a.m. Each day, members of various community organizations and institutions will discuss topics that affect our clients, volunteers and the community in general.
