Another year has come and gone and Meals On Wheels (Sudbury)’s International Passport 6th Annual Fundraiser: An Evening of Fine Wine and Food was as successful as ever. Although final numbers are still not in, preliminary results indicate the total dollar amount raised for Meals On Wheels (Sudbury) programming is in excess of $20,000, about $2,000 more than last year.

The event was held Saturday, November 8, 2003 at the Navy League Hall. Guests were treated to dinner, wine tasting from various regions in France, the entertainment of Pandora Top and both live and silent auctions.

Auction items were donated graciously by a variety of businesses and organizations in and around the community and province. Meals On Wheels (Sudbury) would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the guests that attended and all of the businesses that donated auction items to make this event the most successful International Passport to date.

Every year, Meals On Wheels (Sudbury) features wines from different regions of the world. In the past, these regions have included Portugal, Greece and Italy.
