Meals On Wheels (Sudbury) opened the doors of its new facility at 1127 Bancroft Drive today for the first time since taking possession in June of 2002. Meals On Wheels (Sudbury) was joined by its catering division Home of Our Own Catering in January of 2003, prior to which it had operated out of the Rheal Belisle Cultural Centre in Blezard Valley. Although the new facility had been in use for well over a year, this was the first time the general public and media had been invited to see the new facility and its features.

Guests were treated to an assortment of food courtesy of Home of Our Own Catering, whose commercial kitchen is also housed at the 1127 Bancroft Drive facility, along with other organizations such as the United Way/Centraide and Our Children our Future.

After ample time for eating and socializing, awards were given out to a variety of recipients for their contributions to Meals On Wheels (Sudbury). To see the award winners, please visit our Award Winners section in News & Events.

Every year, Meals On Wheels (Sudbury) features wines from different regions of the world. In the past, these regions have included Portugal, Greece and Italy.
