Meals on Wheels (Sudbury) cares about community and the people they serve. Food is the 'Substance of Life', a necessity that most of us take for granted. Many people cannot make their own meals and are shut-in their homes with no family or friends they can rely on to help them so they depend on programs from Meals On Wheels and other community support services.

Meals on Wheels (Sudbury) is partially funded by the Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care (NELHINS), but government funding only provides us with approximately half of the total funds required to maintain our current client services. The remainder of the required funds, is accumulated from client fees, donations, and fundraising, as well as proceeds from catering events done by Home of Our Own Catering (HOOO), a division of Meals On Wheels (Sudbury).
